Armored Brigade Models has resin kits and conversion parts for these
vehicles. If you are determined to use the Tamiya kits, then you have a
lot of work...

Tracks are inaccurate as the end connectors don't connect anything as
they are centered on the links. You don't get British "I" tracks for
the Grant, either. RHPS< AFV Club, etc. have tracks...

Suspension - the early VVSS units are rather poor, and the wheels have
the wrong number of spokes. Spare wheels can be taken from Tamiya,
Academy or Italeri kits. Tank Workshow, ABM, etc., have M3 suspension
units.

Engine decks - the Tamiya Lee is a hybrid of Diesel and Gas types. You
can use the old Eduard p-e set and parts from the Grant (which is
correct) to improve the kit, or make the parts yourself.

Turrets - in the Lee and Grant the turrets are mishapen, with poorly
located gun mantles, etc. Lots of reworking is needed to make them
close to the real things.

Overall detail is lacking.
