Well, I'm trying out one of the many techniques right now, but I won't
be able to tell how well it works until I've painted the kit. But so
far, it seems to be working OK.

Simply make a groove with a fine tipped tool (Dremel), and fill mthat
groove with epoxy putty (Milliput) that you've previously rolled into
long, thin rolls (as thin as you can make them). Then press the rolled
putty into the groove. If the resulting seam looks too thick or wide,
simply run an X-Acto blade along the seam to remove a thin strip, then
press again with your fingers.
