my name is bill and i am wring to you from new york. i have been SEARCHING FOREVER trying to find a specific reference picture of a tiger I mid production. everyone has pictures of the front, rear, side and even interiors. the part that always seems to be missed the most is the TOPSIDE!!! i am building the new tamiya mid production model and have run into a problem. overall, i am pleased with the kit, but when you attach the turret ceiling onto the turret things get very bare. the rim of the turret sides are exposed as the turret ceiling fits snugly down inside so that if you are looking straight down, there is a line running around the circumference of the turret top about 3 mm from the edge (i really wish that i could draw it for you - i hope that this is making sense). i am going to add a weld seem on this line as there is one on the actual tank from the limited pictures of the turret that i have seen. what i never can figure out is what happens on the top edge right at the front of the turret right behind the mantlet. there is a connection that is represented on the side of the turret near the top that goes the the very top of the side. BUT there is nothing molded of the top of the exposed side. not a weld seem. not a recessed line. nothing. from an engineering perspective, this can't be. i just can't seem to find a clear picture of what is going on here.

do you have any extra pictures lying around or can you point me to some help in any way?

anything that you could do for me would gladly be appreciated.

thanks,

william
