1. The logs are used to fill up anti tank trenches and other obstacles.

2. Your idea has some merits but what will you do once the mud dries and
will cease to look like mud? IMHO you can use old Humbrol enamel paint, the
kind that is all gooey at the bottom of the tinsel and later apply some
gloss over it.

would be the best way to do this.

Add huge amounts of water to clay so it becomes a paste and pour it around
the tank??? then sculpt it.
And any ideas on how to cleen it up if i stuff it up.

And how would I give the mud that extremely wet look???
