I have not used any of the several I have, due to my abysmally poor
production rate, but I just looked at a few sets. I wouldn't say they were
overly thin. They measured about .006 (.15 mm) while both Eduard and Aber
came to be .006-.007 as well (.15 - .18 mm). The thickest I found were
those from On The Mark, coming in at .010 (.25 mm). I think the problem is
that their frets are flimsy with more open space and less reinforcements
(sprue) than the others. They may also be using a brass that has a lower
yield strength, meaning it takes less force to put a permanent bend in it.
On the other hand, I have seen complaints in the past about frets that were
too hard to bend, so I guess it is somewhat of a tricky target to hit.

The parts all looked well and cleanly etched. I can't comment about whether
the parts accurately represent what they are supposed to be, but they would
not be the first company to make frets with pieces that looked better in the
original plastic. That's why I always form the metal BEFORE irreparably
altering the plastic.
