Kurt,
Once I used dimethylformamide for home-made PE, but now I'm lacking of
it.
I tested various kinds of solvents to raise up this substance, but
neither
alcohols, nor ketones or
esters gave suitable result for five-ten minutes grinding ,
dichloroethane
was most effective, but I'm not sure it was the play for safety.
I got advice from professionals to use caustic, but I'm ... still
afraid.
The fret is so thin, and I solder with phosphoric acid...
So the question is still open to me, and common sanding is as
palliative.
Regards,
Dmitriy
