Subject:  How to recreate those T-55 canvas mantlet covers?List thread.

Hello T-L,

I just got the Trumpeter T-55 with BTU-55, I like everything I see except
the mantlet with molded on canvas cover.

It seems like all the current crop of T-55 kits all have pretty unrealistic
looking mantlet covers. I actually feel like sanding the Trumpeter offering
smooth and recreating it myself. Sadly, I don't know how.

How would you go about simulating the almost "delicate" folds and creases
seen in the real thing?
