I believe Eduard is the only strictly PE set out there; I don't see any sets
from Aber listed on the VLS site. If you haven't worked with PE before, I'd
suggest going with Eduard since their sets usually cover the most useful
replacement/additional items. Aber tends to go much farther, which can be
daunting if you haven't worked with the stuff before. In general, it would be
good to have some reference photos at your side because any PE sets may contain
items that were for a particular variant of a vehicle that may not pertain to
the one you're building. If you don't already have it, I'd suggest piccking up
a copy of "Allied-Axis" Issue #2, which has some great photos of all of the
Dodge 1/2 and 3/4 ton trucks.

Verlinden has a resin update for the Skybow command car that has a bit of PE
included (surround box for the radio, an antenna base, restraining straps for
the doorways, and a replacement for the rear tool holder. There's a folded
canvas roof that may or may not fit the Italeri car. The other bits are
general items like backpacks, jerry cans, a .50 MG and ammo boxes, etc. that you
can find in other VP accessory sets. Warriors has an extended canvas roof for
the weapons carrier.
