Hi all,

At our club's last meeting, a friend was kind enough to take a series of
digicam photos for me.

Since I added an extensive amount of brass and other non-plastic bits, I
primed it with Plasti-Kote Sandable Grey Primer to help see any defects in
my modifications before moving to the final colour coat.

All the photos are located at Yahoo! Photos:
http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/kwhcoaster/lst?.dir=/Kubelwagen/Primed

but, here are a few for those who might not be able to access the Yahoo!
Photos pages.

Right side: I had the Kübel primed and 'glued' together with Humbrol Maskol
for the photo session so I could disassemble it for final painting.

Engine: Lots of extra details added here. Most details were made from pop
can aluminium and craft wire. The jack clamp (left side) is made from 0.005"
brass and is functional.

Engine Compartment Lid: Shows the hand crank and tire pump hardware made
from 0.005" brass. The tire pump clamp is functional.

Storage Compartment: Coil access opening is visible here. Opening this
required building a new firewall to give a better scale thickness since the
kit part was far too thick and looked more like armour plate rather than
sheet metal. Also visible is the new rear seat frame made from structure
styrene and wire for the seat springs. Seat back and bottom are functional.

Since taking these photos, I have the engine, transmission and rear
suspension fully painted and ready to be installed. I also have the interior
of the body painted in Model Master Acryl German Grey. Once I add the
external brass details I can finish painting the body.

All comments and questions welcomed.

Thanks.

Ken
