Hi guys,

I managed to get my base coat of German Grey done in time for the club
meeting so I could get some more pics taken. I really like the sheen on the
Model Master Acryl. Only con was that the paint dried tended to dry on the
needle and I had to keep fiddling with the airbrush.

Right Rear - An overall view of the Kübel

Top - Overall top view looking into the Kübel

Shovel - Here is the reworked shovel (wooden handle, boltheads, etc.) in
it's new brackets. I'll paint the blade with metalizer paints.

Shovel will be easy to paint since the tool clamp is functional and I can
remove the shovel.

The all new tire pump (wooden handle) and hand crank can also be removed
from their brackets

Seats - Here are the reworked seat frames with the support springs. I think
I'll use Milliput to make new seat cushions. Also notice that I've
positioned the shifter in 1st gear and pulled up the hand brake.

Dash - Here you can see the wiper motor wiring and windshield cover anchor
loops. The spokes in the steering wheel were replaced with wire for a proper
scale appearance. Also note the new windshield supports on the deck and the
new wooden floorboards made from HO Scale lumber and assembled with wire
'nails'.

Several more pics available at:

And previous pics at :

Now that I have a factory fresh Kübel, I can start 'aging' it.

All feedback welcomed.

Thanks.

Ken
