Hi Marshall,

Mr Blackwell and others have stated that if you can see it you can reach it
with an airbrush :-) And with patience and practice this is even - almost -
true for a rank amatuer like myself, I have found. Use the airbrush (not
paintbrush) for the inaccessible areas, and paint them first - sort of an
"inside out" approach - so that you can overpaint any overspray afterwards.

With a good airbrush and some practice I have been able to free hand paint
the tires on road wheels and such, which seemed impossibly difficult to do
at first ... it just takes practice.

Another approach is definately to leave off things like running gear and
tracks, paint these separately and then glue them on after. If you are like
me you will probably mar your paint job a bit with the final assembly
process, but you can easily touch up the paint job after.
