Do you mean which modern chassis is closest to the width of the old
Tamiya chassis? The old Tamiya chassis is 3mm too wide. The new chassis
is dead on compared to the plans in the Achtung Panzer books, although I
haven't compared it to the new Jentze Pz. IV book. Nor have I measured a
real Pz. IV. The old Italeri chassis is fine and a lot cheaper for
conversions, however, if you get the new Tamiya kit and do not need the
turret parts then can I have them please?

Ask me another Pz. IV question.

Paul.
