Unfortunately, the RPM tracks are currently out of production.
While they are heavy they do look better than the rubber band ones in the kit and they can be made to look good with a little work.
{Interesting marketing strategy: RPM gives you just enough of the track in the kit to wet your appetite but not enough to replace the rubber band tracks without buying the separate Track set.}
I had a very brief look at at the Aber set and was amazed at its quality. However, it looked like an involved construction process and the price was pretty scary when the RPM Renault is a very small basic kit.
Of course, if you get the Aber FT17 interior and exterior updates, the Aber tracks are probably a necessity.
