I purchased mine at a lapidary shop (one that specializes in gems, rock
polishing equipment). It is called a "Beading" tool, but I don't know what
they are really used for though.

This indeed was the kind of tool I was looking for. I believe it was written
about by Steve Zaloga in milmod somewhere.
Where did you buy it, what kinda shop and how is it named, so I might start
a search overhere on the other side of the big pond.
