I don't use either much. I have build a Tiger II with Friulmodel's old type "clamp together" tracks and those worked fine.

I started some Modelkasten workable Type 61 tracks, and had trouble gluing the pins in, putting too much glue and blocking some of the links :-(

Overall many kits have excellent link by link track in the box, not workable but sometimes that is actually an advantage as you ccan glue the tracks together with the roadwheels/idler wheels and drive sprockets, while just inserting (no glue or temporary white glue join) the "roadwheels/idler wheels/drive sprockets" combo. That way you can easily paint the tracks/wheels off the kit as complete subassemblies.

Also the new Tamiya glueable flexible plastic tracks look very good.

AFV Club, HCKW and Armoutrack offer good alternatives also, but Armourtrack reportedly shares some of the fragility associated with Modelkasten.

Best system are the old, out of production, ANVIL tracks and the similar WWII production ones, hopefully they will extend their range a bit.

Cheers,
Christophe
