For me I like to prime my tanks first, I have been using Floquil primer, its ok but if you can't find it you can use model master's. Depending on the stage of the war that will determine the base coat. For the Marder I would use either Model Master's or Polly's Panzer Dark Yellow...for dry brushing I would use some white to bring out the highlights. I have personally never used baby powder I would use Paste chalk..an not the soft stuff use the hard chalk. good luck
