If it's dusty, the last thing you want to to is use the washers
anyway, the dust just sticks even more. I 've never seen the book, so I
wouldn't want to contradict that, but what we're talking about is a faint
line which occurs with even the tiniest bit of muck on the vehichle, if you
use the wipers a couple of times. This may be pretty hard to see in b+w
photo's. So, I would say the cresent should be there even if you're going to
add further weathering over the top of it.
