Try tamiya putty mixed with gunze thinner. apply a thin smooth layer. wait a while for the putty harden.
Stipple it with a hard brush to give it texture and scribe on the lines with a knife.
work in sections so you will have something to hold on to will working.
with this method you could wash off the putty with gunze thinner if you are unhappy with the results. |
