Brandon,
I'll answer your questions in reverse. The major firms probably don't
provide them for several reasons. First when DML did incl etched parts they
got a lot of flak about quality and usablility etc. Second by splitting the
cost of the kit into two they can lower the initial cost. Third even if they
did incl them a lot of people would still replace them with aftremarket
etched metal (and complain about having to pay twice).
If you want to buy them, a lot of mail order places sell them including
those who have banners on Track-Link. Popular aftermarket brands include
Part, Aber and Eduard.
Jadar of Poland who help support Track-Link is one firm you with good prices
that you could try.
