Well, according to the current knowledge it is almost sure that 7-8 8,8cm Jagdtigers have been built in April and Mai 1945 after the 12.8 cm gun was no more available due to the Soviet siege of Breslau. None of the 8,8 cm Jagdtifer was equiped with optics, therefore they did not face combat and all have been destroyed in Mai by Knippenbergs men. Due to the fact that all have been destroyed and no blueprints are available, one can only guess how the one would look like. My suggestion is just to fit the 8,8 barell into the Jagdtiger's gun mantlet. Due to the fact it was a scrambled construction I do not think it was done otherwise in the real.
