| Subject: | Zimm-It-Rite - Help! How do you use this stuff? | |

Hello all,
Has anyone used and had success with Zimm-It-Rite from RJ Products (http://www.rjproducts.com/)??
How did you apply it?
I just tried it for the first time on an old Tiger II test-kit. I tried to squish a small amount of it on the glacis and smooth it around with my finger tip - keeping it constantly wet - to try and get an even coat. But it just would not "stick" unless applied VERY thick.
I was kinda hoping it would be more of a paste that could be spread evenly, but no luck. It almost seems like you have to pre-Zimm the hull to get the Zimm-it-rite to stick!
So far, aside from the water solubility, I've had easier times with Green Putty kept moistened with nail polish remover - as it at least "bites" the plastic and pretty much stays put.
Thanks for any advice on using this stuff!
