Hi John,

I do it this way: look for a sprue with the correct diameter or sand one. Sand the head to the correct convexity. Take some clear, quite thick foil (like the ones from the collars of new skirts). Heat it carefully and pull it over the sprue. You just have to cut and sand it round and can even put some lines like the originals on it. This looks very good and is for free!
