Yes this is the usual practice on military vehicles, but if you don't
like the look, there's always "artistic license"...
I would also suggest getting some photo-etched grilles for the engine
vents, either from Tamiya or Eduard or Aber, just make sure you're
getting some fitting the Tamiya Panther G.
