What, me? I'm nearing completion on a massive re-working of the old ESCI SdKfz. 10/4 (1ton Demag 1/2 track mounting the 20mm Flak 30). Used the driver's compartment and floor from the Italeri 10/5, front tires/wheels and inner road wheels from Tamiya 250, outer road wheels from DML 250, Friul tracks and sprockets, completely scratchbuilt gun deck and folddown side grates, and some of the Eduard brass set for the Italeri 10/5. Gun is the old ESCI offering, highly detailed with lots of scratch built plastic and brass bits, scratch built shields and a Jordi barrel. Tacked on behind is a re-worked New Connections ammo trailer.
I honestly can not reccommend this project to anyone. It will will drive you to distraction. But I started it and feel compelled to finish it. |
