Hi Christophe,
As David says, try to build in subassemblies as much as possible. The
hard part is to determine how much you can build while still be able to
check for fit then paint the parts as you go along.
What I do is I tack the parts together just enough to hold them without
falling apart. then check for fit and any interference before bonding
them for good. This way I can be sure no suprises show up during the
build of the assemblies.
The way I would go about this in sub assemblies is:
1, Engine assembly.
2, Chassis
3, drive train
4, body
5, accessories
Now, keep in mind this for what I do for 1/24th scale cars and pickups.
And since this is a big ol honkin transporter, it's construction maybe
different and more like a tractor 18 wheeler which I no nothing about. I
would gather it's somewhat building like the Tamiya Dragon wagon? I got
that kit as well but still on my "to do" list.
Hope this helps and GOOD LUCK! :)
Regards,
Brandon |
