I recently decided to build the Tamiya Panther A. Its just collecting dust. Despite all the flaws in the kit i figured i could get my feet wet buliding AFV's. My question is has anybody tried to scratch build the Panther A turrent with the templates from the article in the September 1990 issue of FSM "Accurizing Tamiyas 1/35scale panther A".I tried
building the turrent per instructions but found a few mistakes, unless i'm just doing it wrong.
The back plate and back side plates seem to be wrong. Anyone notice this? I know its probably not perfect but these seem to be major misstakes, unless i'm doing it wrong. Anyone care to allaborate.

thanks
Greg Martinez
