Series 1 seats were vinyl as well. My brother has a Series I from 1951, in
mint condition.

Just as Al mentioned, the vinyl is very tight. The passenger seat lifts out
of two peg holes (you have to remove it to put gas in the tank). I think the
other two seats lift out too, but I'm not sure.

The vinyl is definately very sticky in the summer.
