Paul,
I guess one question that I have now that you have told me about the
zimmerit is, were there any of the Sturmtigers built on a new chassis or
were they all built on a used late Tiger chassis.
The Model Kasten track links do have the hollow guide horn and the Fruil
set also has the open guide horns as well. I have put a set of the Fruil
King Tiger links together for an earlier project that never got off the
ground and really thought they were great. I went through all the links,
cleaning off all the flash, and drilled out the holes to receive the
wire pins. Then I seperated them into two containers and started putting
them together. I really liked the hefty feeling that they had and they
really looked great after they were all put together.
Thanks for your opinion and your answers.
