| The two turrets and main “turret pedestal” were constructed using concentric rings of 2mm and 1.5mm plastic card cut to the correct diameters. These were then drilled in the centre and a 2mm plastic rod inserted as a guide and glued. When completely dry I carefully filed the edges down to the correct angles then gluing a 0.5mm skin onto them. The turret top edges are filled with milliput levelled with a steel ruler allowed to dry and sanded. Finally filling and tidying the joints. |
