Easiest was I ever found was to measure something that has a known size in
1/35, say you have a plan of a Panther in an unkown scale, measure the
diameter of the roadwheel and compare to a 1/35 road wheel. The ratio of the
two will give the ratio of the whole plan. If you see what I mean.
