Although I don't have this set, I can tell you that I haven't heard anything but negative comments about it... Going by the photos I've seen of it (it was re-released for installation on the Tamiya kit, IIRC) it looks like an Enigma at first sight, but as soon as you look more closely, you'll discover that much of it looks simply wrong... :(
BTW, having recently "built" a T-55 Enigma as a 3D computer model, it looks to me like this is the kind of conversion that shouldn't be overly hard to make without a conversion kit, since the real thing is, for a large part, just big blocks carried on crude frames made from metal beams. Perhaps you could rescue various bits from the Verlinden set and scratchbuild stuff like the turret armor blocks, which (again, from photos) appear to have the wrong shape? |
