I found in scrap/salvage yards many, many kind of wire useful in model
building as well as pieces of aluminum, brass and copper. I would find
something useful and take about a handful, I have always offered to pay but
they always said forget it. A have aquired many kinds of useful wire, tubes,
brads and pieces this way. VERY useful when relacing tow cables, grab
handles, antennae and so on...also very economical.
I hope this helps someone.

| What would be best to use for that? The kit I'm working on comes with
| plastic towing cables and I have to say I hate them - I also have the
| Tamiya Leopard 2A5 - where they're using just thread - a bit better but
| not happy with that either.

| Tanks (oops, I meant "thanks") for any suggestions.
