Tonys:

I've got the Tank Workshop set and I'm in the middle of doing the Tamiya as an
M3A1. The tracks themselves are disappointing. They are obviously copies of
the Tamiya tracks with new teeth positioned down the center of the track.
Unfortunately, the molding is such that the detail on one edge of the tracks is
good, but bad on the other edge (which must have been attached to the mold
plug). The teeth, moreover, are too large to fit between the paired wheels in
the kit. So, the resin track is really no great improvement over the rubber
track.

On the other hand, the drive and idler wheels are very nice. It takes a bit of
clean-up and TLC but it's well worth the effort. I did screw up trying to sand
down the star-shaped sproket that goes between the drive wheel halves, and had
to call TW for a replacement. They kindly provided me a set for free, and
advised not sanding it down (the extra width from the casting process is
negligible).

But all in all, a mixed bag.

Tim
