Hi Hartmut,

I have not used any of the zimmerit sheets, so I don't know for sure, but I
would think that you can position the sheet without cement and perhaps use
bits of tape to hold them in position and then finally touch drops of
superglue to the edges. The capilliary action will draw the glue under the
sheet and you're done.

Two component cements will be too thick to use under the zimmerit sheets
making them fit badly.

I've used plain liquid plastic cement to hold little bits of photo etch in
place until they're where I want them and then I just touch them with a drop
of thin super-glue using a sewing needle that has been cut across the "eye"
and pushed into a small wooden stick.

Perhaps a small dab of plastic cement here and there on the model will allow
it to grip the zimmerit sheet slightly until you can touch the edges with
drops of superglue. I know that plastic cement has no effect on resin.

What could work now that I think about it is you can drill holes in the
model where the zimmerit sheets will be attached and then from behind
drip-in superglue once the sheet is in position. Of course, you'd have to
attach the zimmerit before you glue the hull top and bottom together.
