Jonni,
I have both the Verlinden and Royal Models detail sets. Verlinden's set
offers several resin parts (about 12-15) for the interior of the M8, a small
PE sheet, and a complete resin .50 cal. The Royal Models set offers a lot
of PE (part of which is to make a sue-wheat .50 ammo box and ammo belt), a
few resin and PE for the interior, and many resin parts (bags, mines, canvas
tarps, etc) for the exterior of the M8.

As to which is the better set that all depends on what you're looking to do
with your M8. If you want to show off the interior (drivers compartment,
ammo racks, etc) then go for the Verlinden set. But if you looking for a
well-used and accessorised M8 go for Royal Modal.

Enjoy.
