It's a nice kit, actually they older Type 74 kit re-released with new
figures and accessories (skis, etc...), Thermal sleeved gun, fire simulator
and tracks in Tamiya new flexible plastic (instead of vinyl).
Should build up nicely.
If you really want to use aftermarket parts there is an Ordnance Models
detail/update set with some items cast in white metal and maybe some
photo-etch , I'll try and dig it out of my box and review it on Tl... There
is also a nice bulldozer blade set in white metal from Ordnance models also.
Tamiya have a small booklet on the vehicle which provides some reference.
Tamiya also did at one point a JGDSF decal sheet with some colourful unit
insignia (out of production and very hard to find). Otherwise there is some
reference in issues of Japanese magazines like Panzer and Tank Magazine.
