| Subject: | Louvered grilles, how to source/make them? | |
| Date: | Dec 2, 2003 |
| From: | Christophe Jacquemont | |
I have a resin kit of the Jagdpanzer Kanone with totally inaccurate engine grilles and would like to remove them and replace them with new ones.
I'm too chicken to scratchbuild them entirely, good sources of grilles are the 1/35 M113 kits ans LVTP 7 kits, but I need a somewhat finer, tighter pattern.
Any suggestion of donor kits? Or is there another product I could get those from (railway modelling accessories, plastruct or evergreen patterned plasticard sheet, if they exist?
Thanks for your help!
Cheers,
Christophe |
