I built the kit when it first came out, and was not too impressed. It does
not go together well, even for DML standards of trickiness. Lots of hand
rails to replace with wire. The fit of the side doors was really bad, too.
You will need to do a ton of fitting and trimming. Never had any problems
with the tires in any of the kits with them... just make sure to sand the
wheels so the tire slips in place without a lot of stretching. Kind of
toylike and simple overall. |
