I recently built Academy's Stuart/Honey tank in one of the British desert schemes. I got a crazy idea to stretch my modeling skills and scratch built the various boxes on top of the hull and left the lids open. It then occurred to me that I have no idea what was actually stored inside of them. I have scanned the internet looking for some ideas about what they put in there and found very little. Can anyone recommend a source to review of give me some idea what the crews actually used these bins for? I have assumed they did not store ammo and surmised that they were likely filled with personal gear. But I have no real basis for this assumption.
