The Revell/Dragon Stug kits are pretty nice. I think with the F and F-8
some good reference pictures and/or drawings would be helpful. With these
kits, as all of the transmission hatches, engine deck vents, hinges, etc.,
are all seperate, the kit instructions do not always match the real tank.
You get a lot of various StuG and Panzer III parts in the box, and
sometimes good drawings are necessary to make the most out of the kit.
Some of the DML StuG kits are based on their original B/C/D tooling. These
have seperate torsion bars, and some rough molding, too. Other StuG and
Panzer III kits in the range are based on the ex-Gunze kits and have
different lower hulls with the torsion bars molded on. |
