Jordi,
I am using the Tamiya M5 kit and the Verlinden M5 Recon/Command conversion (# 1841). I also have added a floor from an Academy M3 Honey as the Verlinden set dosen't provide one. I've been working on this for a couple of years, on and off.
My understanding is that US used the M5 and England and Canada used M3's.
If the following link works you can see 3 pics of the model as of a few weeks ago.
