The floor of the M5/M5A1 doesn't look anything like that in the M3/M3A3 series. Even the position of the drivers steering tillers is very different. If you can find it, "Yanks" made a partial M5 interior that would go a longway to helping you with this.

Not entirely. In Tunisia both the US and Commonwealth used M3/M3A1/s, with the US also using some M5s. In Italy the Commonwealth used the remnants of the M3/M3A1s and a lot of M3A3s turned into Recces. The US were pretty much swapped over to the M5/ M5A1. In NW Europe the Commonwealth used M3A3s slowly swapping out to the M5A1s over the winter while the US went in with M5A1s and used stocks of M5s when the vehicle casualties became too high until the M24 came on line. |
