I had a set of those from R+J were you had to glue the little handles on to the "bits". Are these where you are referring to? I hate to say it but I tossed them out because the handles kept breaking off for me.

Now I make little trowels from polypro plastic which putty does no stick too. This is by far the best method for applying zimmerit made from putty.
