Hi...I understand....the 'problem' as with all things on RC is the hard knocks..a bit like life :)..

Easy to solve...as said I used a spray can varnish as the adhesive...mask off the ares to be coated, use a spray can varnish, spray it on the area nice and even then 'dust' the powder on....the powder WILL NOT be affected by water etc...as long as its stuck on OK it will be fine...then just paint over as normal.

The adhesive is the problem with all methods...I have used thie above method on 1/6th and 1/16th RC models...for commision work...and it has stayed on fine..and as it was commision work it had to :)
