| Subject: | Super Glue De-bonder Question | |

Years ago, I attended a speed building seminar at "The Gathering" model contest in Ogden, Utah. One of the great things I learned was the use of debonder on a q-tip to get rid of excess super glue at joints. But you had to use a debonder that didn't attack the plastic. What was used was a product called "PIC APART" Debonder manufactured by Penn International Chemicals. I purchased a bottle of it at that time and haven't seen any since. All other debonders I've tried seem to soften and eat the plastic just like liquid cement. The PIC APART had no adverse reaction at all. Just scrub the q-tip across the plastic until the glue was gone. It is great for installing PE parts. Makes it SOOO easy to get a clean installation. Do any of you guys know of a source for this stuff or any other debonder that is "plastic friendly"?
