One thing on the M1A2, About every kit I have seen outthere, and I know I havn't seen this last bactch that came out post OIF, so can't say for them, but...

Usually, fromwhat I can see, they based the A2 off of the prototype. M1A2's when they havea generator, usually mount them in the bustle. In fact, the bustle is heavily modified to take it. Lower toprail, the bottem has a solid plate added, and so forth. Usually also, they use the old style chevron tracks. No A2 is equiped with it. Sprokets we use now have difficulty using the old style, all you will see is the new big foot style. (A pair of rectangular pads side by side, flat surfaced)

was surfing a webstore, and saw a kit for displaying the engine. Have to dredge the web and find the manufactor, but... don't get that one.

From what I can see from the photo, and I have to take a look at it to see if its as bad as the photo to put the big old *Don't Buy* stamp official like on it, it has a lot of issues. One is fixable, with a little scratch work. In the photo they have the back deck off... but the b*tch plate is still on. never would be as the thing just lays there, and isn't bolted down in anyway. Thats step one in pulling pack. Also fixable is the battery hatches are closed, needs to be opened, and a battery set built. (6, arranged small end to small end, front to back) What might not be: Engine shape itself feels wrong, but agian, have to look at the actuall resin to be sure. I do know the front of the engine is, the intake may be right, but you are missing the step plate, the oil filters, hydralic pump, wire harness, and about a ton of smaller fittings. Also, JPS hose is there, that has to be removed to pullpack as well. In the compartment, the fittings for the wire harness doesn't appear to be there, as well, the finall drives are wrong-ish. You can see a M1 with pack pulled with the drives looking that way... but, to pull pack, you have to open up pair of access plates (Not open in the pic, easy fix) to undo 12 bolts. When the pack is lifted, half of the final drive cover is pulled with, exposing the gears. Just setting the cover back won't help, moisture still rusts them up. (Usually use a trash bag to cover them) Final nitpick... transmission coolers... so so so wrong shapped.. access hatches are wrong as well.

Agian, take with a grain of salt. The engine may be correct for say, a M1. But the Box says M1A1, and if so.. its wrong from what i see from the pic.
