The kit I have has a split/molding defect through the turret roof leading back to the roof hatch. This had a nasty “spider’s web” depression that was too far beyond my skills to repair so I’ve chosen to replace it. While I was at it I decided to open up the hatch and that’s required thinning the roof around the hatch area to give it a better scale thickness. I plan to put a basic interior inside the turret (just a hint as they used to say:)).
