Hey guys,

I started a new kit today for a quick build, the junky old Academy Stug IV. Anyhow, I had thought about the holes on the bottom of the hull, for the motorized version, and have found a quick and effective method to seal them up. This will work on most any holes you wish to fill as long as its styrene. I take a candle and heat up some sprue, like it you were making an antennea. Put a flat peice of metal, I used a rule, against the outside surface of the model. Then quickly smashed the molten spru into the hole. With a little practice I was getting them plugged with hardly even any visible seam. Sure beats the old putty, wait, sand, putty again process.

Hope this helps,
Clair
