Hello Bob,

The best way is to develop a good selection of X-acto blades (#11, chisel, saw), needle files, pin vise, sand paper and if you have the cash a motor tool (ie dremel).

In the end it doesn't matter what tools you use its just a matter of being careful ... for both your fingers and the model.

For smaller parts I just use an assortment of x-acto blades but for heavier/larger parts I usally go with my dremel.
