Subject:  Trumpeter Sturer Emil problems with road wheel (a).List thread.

 From:  Tom Kondziolka
Has anyone building the Trumpeter Sturer Emil had any problems with road wheel (a) on page 4 of the instruction sheet? According to the instructions four wheels components A17, 2- A19's, and A18 are suppose to fit together by sliding the two A19's onto the A17 then mating the A18 to the post on A17. I have found however that the post on A17 is not longer enough to fit A18 on the post with two A19's. My conclusion is that either the post on A17 is too short or the two center wheels A19 are too thick.

Another problem I noticed was that the spacing between the wheels is about three to four times the size of the track horn. This seems to support the A19’s being too thick. In reality I do not think that the tracks would stay on the wheels with this much gap.

Anyone else have this problem?

Thanks,

Tom
